A much-delayed return

Wed Nov 11, 2009, 11:52 AM
Well, I am back on deviantART after a good two years. At the moment I am pretty busy with college applications and all that fun stuff, but I am procrastinating as usual. I guess I will try to write some new stories and put them up in my free time.

Right now, I am just sort of zoned out, as I have been for the past week or so. I am sick and it's kind of taking a toll on me. I just finished the book John Dies at the End by David Wong, which is fantastic, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a laugh, and the (web-?) book Bartender by Dan O'Brien. Despite its many grammatical and contextual errors, I really got a kick out of that one. Also, I just got back my ACT score yesterday, and I was definitely happy with a 33. :) It was my first time taking it, and I took the SAT again this past weekend (shooting for 1500+ on the combined math and critical reading score, last time I got a 1350 on those two sections, 2050 total). I think I killed that one too.

I am looking forward to seeing "The Men Who Stare At Goats" on Friday, it looks hysterical, but I am not as excited about my full day of work Saturday.

Not really in the writing mood right now, but I try to force myself to do a bit of it every day, whether it is easy or not... so who knows, a new story might be up soon!

Equilibrium - a great movie, probably the best Christian Bale movie there is. Nice .gif, and thanks for the compliment about the sigs. Nice meeting you, hope to see some more of your stuff soon!

In my free time: I code applications and programs in AutoHotKey, make crappy digital art in GIMP, and read way too much.

Haven't been on dA in years, literally, and am now thinking of writing some stories to put up.
