I just today started work on what, in an ideal world, will develop into a full novel. It is called (tentatively) The End of Bliss, and it is a philosophical work of fiction. This is very different from my usual type of storyline (simple, straight fiction/fantasy), but the introduction and first chapter just sort of came to me, and I can't really control that writer's impulse. It's not me, it's that creative dude inside struggling to get out. I can only wonder what he has in store.

Anyway, I have posted chapter one in my gallery, and I think it looks promising - sure, it might start off a bit slow, but I honestly am intrigued by the whole free will/fate argument. My beliefs will most likely become more evident if you decide to actually read the story. But I am open-minded, so if you have an alternate take to offer, feel free to drop a comment!

I hope to hear from you dA critics soon, this is the first time I have posted something I have written online (at least a story; my blog can be read at www.marshlives.blogspot.com), so I don't really know what to expect.
